Ubtan Facial Mask Exfoliator

Some think the Ubtan is the world’s first known cosmetic.  The Ubtan is an ancient Indian pre-marital ritual for the skin that gently exfoliates and revitalizes the skin making it radiant. Ubtans stimulate the lymph flow and are an excellent exfoliant for the skin.  Our Ubtan also helps to release toxins from the body which causes the skin to glow.

Why did we decide to create an Ubtan mask?  As you know, I love researching ancient beauty recipes and recreating them.  The old saying less is more works wonders on our skin and I am proof of that.  There are many different recipes for an Ubtan and I created what I found works best.  To create your Ubtan paste you have endless possibilities including:  milk, yogurt, water, oils (only a few drops), juice, etc.  The options are limited to your imagination and what you have on hand.  When I use the Ubtan I mix a few drops of sunflower oil then add water to make a paste.  The Ubtan is a bit messy but it’s well worth it.

**This package will yield at least 24 facial applications depending on how much you use per application.  Please remember to only hydrate the portion you are going to use immediately.

Directions:  Mix approximately 1 – 1.5 tsp with a few drops of your favorite oil (sunflower, olive, essential oil, etc) if you’d like then mix with liquid (water, milk, juice, endless possibilities) to create a creamy paste.  Apply ubtan to your face and gently rub in circular motions for about two minutes.  Let dry for several minutes then gently rub again in circular motions until all grains fall off.  Rinse with warm water and pat dry.  Skin will look radiant!

Caution:  Please keep away from eyes.  For external use only.
